Rainbow Moonstone Freeform

Some stones announce themselves across a room. This one does not. It is quiet, and it holds up to being picked up and turned over, which is more than most.

This is a free-form piece, which means it was cut and polished to follow the shape of the stone rather than forced into a shape. No two are alike, and the photographs here show the exact piece you will receive.

It is soft white with a quiet grey movement running through it, polished smooth, heavier in the hand than it looks, and it stands on its own without needing a stand.

Rainbow Moonstone belongs to the same feldspar family as the Moonstone chips set into my Maeve candle. Traditionally, it is known as the stone of balance, intuition and new cycles, carried in seasons of change, when life is shifting, and the answer is one you already hold but have not yet listened to.

It sits well on a bedside table, a desk or a windowsill, and it belongs beside a candle at the end of the day when the house has finally gone quiet.
