Candle care

We hope you enjoy your Jade + June candle. To ensure you get the most out of your candle, please follow these candle care tips:

  • Trim the wick to 5-6 mm before each burn to receive the maximum burn time. 
  • For the first burn, allow at least 3 hours or until the wax has melted to the edges of the jar. This will ensure an even burn every time. 
  • Never burn your candle for more than 4 hours at a time. 
  • When finished burning, extinguish using a snuffer, and place the lid on top to prevent dust or debris from settling on the wax surface.

Safety Instructions

  • Never leave a burning candle unattended. 
  • Keep your candle away from anything that can catch fire, such as curtains, papers, or other flammable materials.
  • Place your candle on a sturdy, heat-resistant surface, and ensure it’s out of reach of children and pets.
  • Burn your candle in a well-ventilated area, away from drafts or air vents.
  • Do not burn your candle for more than 4 hours at a time.
  • Stop using the candle when it reaches 1cm of wax remaining.
  • Use a candle snuffer or carefully blow out the flame to extinguish the candle. Do not use water to put out the flame.
  • Avoid touching or moving a hot candle or wax pool. Wait until it cools down before handling it.
  • Store your candle in a dry, cool place below 25C and away from direct sunlight.
  • Finally, always read and follow the warning label before use.

Room Spray Care

Instructions:

  • Shake well before use
  • Spray 2-3 pumps throughout your immediate space and refresh as desired
  • Spray into the centre of the room, away from your face and eyes
  • Avoid spraying directly onto fabrics or furniture

  • Not intended to be used as a body spray
  • Not intended to be used as a linen spray
  • Keep away from children and pets
  • Keep away from heat and flames

Reed Diffuser Care

Our diffusers are all handmade and last between 3 to 6 months depending on the air condition it is placed in. If placed close to a fan or air conditioning or an open window the reeds will soak up the oil faster.

Place the reed sticks in the oil and allow them to sit for one hour, then flip the reeds over so the other end of the reed can absorb the fragrance.

Regularly flip your reed sticks over to release a fresh light aroma into your space as desired.

Warning:

  • Do not light the diffuser reeds
  • Keep out of reach of children and pets
  • Place your reed diffuser where it will not be easily knocked over
  • If spilled, clean immediately to avoid damage to surfaces.
