Caring for Your Candle

To get the most out of your Jade + June candle, follow these simple tips each time you burn it.

• Trim the wick to 5-6mm before each burn for the best burn time.
• For the first burn, allow at least 3 hours or until the wax melts to the edges of the jar.
• Never burn your candle for more than 4 hours at a time.
• When finished, extinguish with a snuffer and replace the lid to keep the wax dust-free.

Safety Instructions

• Never leave a burning candle unattended, and keep it away from anything flammable.
• Place on a sturdy, heat-resistant surface, out of reach of children and pets.
• Burn in a well-ventilated area, away from drafts, and stop once 1cm of wax remains.
• Store below 25°C, away from direct sunlight.

Room Spray, Diffuser & Melt Care

• Room spray: shake well, then spray 2-3 pumps into the centre of the room. Avoid fabrics, furniture and direct contact with skin.
• Reed diffusers: last 3-6 months and can be flipped regularly to refresh the scent. Keep away from open flames.
• Wax melts: place 1-2 squares in a warmer, enjoy for a few hours, then let the wax cool before removing. Never pour melted wax down the drain.

We offer free shipping Australia-wide on orders over $90. Orders under $90 ship for a flat rate of $12.

All orders are shipped from our Melbourne studio via Australia Post. Please allow 2 business days for processing.

• Standard Post: 3-5 business days (6-8 for NT and WA).
• Express Post: 1-3 business days when ordered by 2pm AEST on a business day.

Returns

We do not offer exchanges or refunds for a change of mind, so please choose carefully. If your item arrives faulty or damaged, contact us within 48 hours at hello@jadeandjune.com.au with your order number, a description, and photos, and we’ll arrange a replacement or refund.

Missing Parcels

If your order shows as delivered but hasn’t arrived, check with household members and neighbours, look around your property, and contact your local post office. Still no luck? Email us within 7 days of the delivery date and we’ll open an investigation with Australia Post.

What are your candles made from?

Our candles are made using 100% natural soy wax and non-toxic fragrance, and are infused with ethically sourced crystals.

Can I leave the crystals in my candle when I light it?

Yes! The crystals are small enough to leave in while burning. Once about 1cm of wax remains, you can carefully remove them with a heatproof utensil, then rinse off any excess wax in a strainer under hot water.

Are your products vegan-friendly?

Yes, we’re pleased to offer vegan-friendly products across our entire range.

What should I do with my empty jar when finished?

Your empty jar can be reused as a storage container, or it can be recycled.

What payment methods do you accept?

We accept Visa, Mastercard, PayPal, Apple Pay and Google Pay.
