Iโve always believed in the power of intention, both in business and in life. My journey has been one of constant learning and growth, starting with a foundation in administration and evolving into a deep passion for supporting others. Through decades of personal development, property investing, and eventually business coaching, I worked behind the scenes helping small business owners build something meaningful. But it was through this coaching work that my real fascination with crystals began to bloom. So many of my clients were in the crystal wholesale and retail space, and their passion was infectious. I found myself drawn not just to their business stories, but to the profound wisdom and energy these beautiful stones carry.
Alongside my entrepreneurial pursuits, Iโd been quietly crafting candles since 2012, a creative practice born from my beauty business days that never truly left my heart. Candles became my meditation, my way of creating something with intention and care. When the world paused during lockdown, my daughter Bree Jade and I saw an opportunity to weave together everything we both loved: the artistry of candle-making and the gentle, transformative energy of crystals.ย Jade + Juneย wasnโt born from a business plan; it was born from a moment of clarity, a desire to create something beautiful and intentional that we could share with the world. We collaborated with joy, and though Bree eventually stepped back to focus on her growing family, that spirit of creation and mindfulness remains at the heart of everything I do.
Today, I find myself in a season of semi-retirement, one Iโm thoroughly enjoying. I spend precious time with my daughter and my beautiful grandchild, and Iโve deepened my spiritual practice through Reiki training.ย Jade + Juneย has become my passion project, a small but meaningful way to create products that honour both craftsmanship and consciousness. Every candle I make, every crystal I pair with intention, is crafted with the same care and mindfulness Iโve carried throughout my life. This business is a reflection of who I am: someone who believes in slow, intentional living, the power of energy and vibration, and the beauty of creating something with love.
